ZBiddy gives you the largest amount of bids at the cheapest price!

To get an objective look at ZBiddy, you must first understand how the typical penny auction site works. In order for items to be sold for such low prices, the standard bidding system has been tweaked. Instead of the traditional method where bids can be placed without any purchase or prior funding necessary and only the winner pays the final price, penny auctions operate with a different algorithm. Bidders purchase bids, usually in packs.

This means that the act of placing a bid is not free, but this facilitates unheard-of low prices that more than make up for the amount paid for bids for the winner of the auction. It comes down to making every single bid count, using proven techniques and strategies can land you tons of great deals on products below even wholesale prices- but at the same time you can end up wasting your money on nothing if you aren’t careful (especially if you haven’t done any research on the penny auction site that you are using). A timer determines when the auction ends, but most sites reset this timer every time a new bid is placed.

Don’t make the mistake of keeping your focus solely on one penny auction marketplace, you are handicapping yourself and limiting your options. The more products and auctions at your disposal, the more chances you grab up the ‘low hanging fruit’- so be active on as many penny auction sites as you can to maximize your potential. Follow tips and tricks used by the experts to ensure that your bids don’t go to waste.

So is ZBiddy a reliable penny auction site for you to keep an eye on? Absolutely! The interface is clean and sleek and the menus are simple and straightforward- the presentation is overall very enjoyable and approachable. Prices are displayed prominently to avoid any confusion which is a problem with some penny auction sites. The common issue of “alliances” or the use of several accounts/users to scare away bidders is thankfully absent from ZBiddy, everyone has a fair shot at the prize. Measures are taken against those who would take advantage of an unfair playing field, you can bid with confidence at ZBiddy(but don’t bid foolhardily, a good rule of thumb is to wait until the average penny auction going price is reached or almost reached, there’s no need to rack up the price prematurely).

The item selection at ZBiddy is varied with lots of high-end products- nearly anybody can find an auction that they are interested in. All items at ZBiddy are brand new and include the manufacturer’s warranty, but some sites occasionally auction off used, antique, or collectors’ items that do not include factory warranties, so always read the description. The big ticket items that catch everyone’s eyes are available at ZBiddy, but beginners would do well to focus on the less popular items to learn the ropes and get a feel for the best techniques that get the most out of the penny auction system. Once you have a good amount of victories under your belt and some newfound confidence, you can pounce on that big screen TV you’ve been drooling over.

Make sure you take a look at what ZBiddy has to offer in terms of promotions, free bids, and guarantees. The penny auction landscape is constantly changing and many sites are realizing that building the trust of the marketplace is the key to becoming successful. You should be using sites that offer a certain amount of free bids to new users. The best ones have guarantees in place that refund the price of a bid pack when the user doesn’t win a single auction with them, that way the risk factor is sharply reduced while the rewards remain the same.

Overall, ZBiddy is absolutely worth adding to your regular penny auction rounds. The clean interface, fair community, and extensive item selection provide a great bargain marketplace experience. Always keep an eye on current bids and remember to be vigilant!

What Is A Penny Auction

A penny auction is a different type of auction that you will only find on the internet. In penny auctions each participant must purchase bids in bid packs before they are allowed to place a bid on any current running auction. Each auction will include a timer that will always be counting down to zero, each bid placed on the auction will typically add 20 seconds back onto the clock. The person who places the last bid before the timer expires will be the winner. Those are the very basics but each penny auction site will vary slightly in costs, clock management, and features so always read up on the features and rules before signing up.

You are normally only able to buy items on penny auction sites but I have seen at least one site that allows you to put your own items up for auction. I imagine you would be better off just selling on ebay if you want to list your own items, you would get more for the item on ebay. Items on these sites are almost always brand new factory sealed and will include any warrantys the item would have if you bought it in a store. Some sites will auction off antiques or novelty items that would not be new but in these instances you would always know, it would never be a surprise.

During the auction itself you will find that it feels like a game at times because of the timer and all the various strategies you can use to help yourself win. When you bid and how you bid can make a huge impact on the outcome of the auction. Some bidders like to try and intimidate other bidders by bidding aggressively in hopes of scaring away their competition. They may also try to create clever user names to try and trick you into thinking the auction is over or as a scare tactic. This is what makes penny auctions exciting and why people get addicted to them because it can be similar to gambling in some ways.

You can win some great items at amazing prices in these auctions but you must be diligent when signing up for any particular site. The more established sites are a good bet and I would be very careful if signing up for a newer less known site because these have been known to take your money and run. Be smart about when you place your bids and try not to become too involved with any one auction. Cut your losses if you think you are going to lose and don’t exhaust all of your bids. good luck.

How Do Penny Auctions Work

penny auction sitesPenny auctions are a great way to win a large and good variety of items for cheap. Unlike the more traditional auctions like ebay, penny auctions operate a little bit different but the results are also much better if you win. So how do penny auctions work?

Almost every penny auction site will charge you fee for every bid you place during an auction. I say almost every because there are just a couple that have altered the process slightly and only allow actual dollar amount bids. The fee you are charged will vary from site to site but tends to average around 60 cents. You will be required to purchase these bids in bid packs before you are allowed to bid. The quantities will vary of course and when you buy in bulk you normally get a small discount on the price per bid. The penny auction sites also auction off bid packs for their sites that you can try to win.

There is always only one winner in each auction. This is how the penny auction sites maker their money and can afford to offer these items at such low prices. This can work to your advantage at times if you bid at the right time you could win the auction having only bid once.  However, once you place a bid you lose it forever. Even if you lose the auction you will lose any bids you placed so always bid wisely.

When the auction is live you will see a timer on every auction that is always counting down to zero. The starting time on this timer will vary from site to site but they all work the same because this is a fundamental feature of penny auctions. Once the timer starts counting down, each bid placed will reset the timer a certain amount of time that will vary from site to site but tends to be around 20 seconds. This is an area where strategy can really help you win auctions. Clock management is something you will want to work on if you want to be successful on a regular basis.

Those are the basics that can be applied to almost any penny auction site you may come across. Most of the penny auction sites like to get creative and come up with newer features to help them stand apart. Daily specials on bid packs, bid wheels that you get to spin daily, bid bots, etc.

One of the nicer features that we love is the Buy It Now feature that many have implemented to help customers feel like they are getting something for the money they are spending if they lose. Many people have complained about the penny auctions scam because they would use all their bids and come away with nothing. This is mostly due to the fact that some were not completely aware about how these auctions operate and yes some sites were operating a bit shady.

This feature allows you to purchase the item you were bidding on in the event that you lose the auction. The price you would pay for the item would have the cost of the amount of bids you placed during the auction, deducted from the final price. The items would be priced at the MSRP and you would also need to pay the shipping charges. This allows you to get something for your money even if you lose all your bids, you don’t have to walk away with nothing.

What Are Penny Auctions

You might have seen some ads on a site somewhere or maybe even a news article discussing penny auctions but you aren’t sure what exactly they are so in this post I will try to explain the best I can.
Penny auctions are a unique type of auction that ads some risk and chance to the classic auction process.

In penny auction sites all items start at $0.00 and each bid you place will raise the price by one penny. The actual cost of the bid you are placing will vary by site but the average cost to place a bid on these sites is .60 cents. You can enter these auctions at any time during the process and any bid you place is just as valuable as any other bid placed. The cost of the item when you start bidding is not the cost you would pay, you could bid just once and win the item.

In the picture below you can see how a typical item is presented for auction during a penny auction.

what are penny auctions
Every auction has a timer that counts down to zero once the auction starts and each bid placed will reset that timer a specific amount of time to create excitement and a gaming atmosphere. The amount of time placed back onto the timer will vary by site. The addition of the timer also creates areas for bidders to employ strategy to help them win more auctions. The person who places the last bid before the timer reaches zero wins the auction.

Some sites will have unique features such as free shipping or bidding bots that allow you to place bids if you need to step away from your computer. Free shipping is one the rarer features but sites do exist that offer this feature. One such site is dealfun which we have endorsed here on this site. Bid bots are great because you can program them to place a certain amount of bids at certain times in the auction process. This is great if you can’t stay up all night or just need to step away to take care of important business. It’s always best to remain present at the auction but the bots work great at times.

Sellmoo Penny Auctions Review

sellmoo penny auctionsSellmoo penny auctions has recently relaunched so lets have a look at what this penny auction site has to offer its customers. I like the name personally its kinda catchy and reminds me of cows I don’t quite get the point of it but whatever, it works.

—-> Click Here To Sign Up With Sellmoo<—

  • The layout is nice it has a nice blue airy feel to it and makes you feel at home. Very inviting interface and layout so things look great on this point
  • They have a winners page which lists a bunch of the recently won auctions. This is good so you can take a look at what some items have sold for in the past and bid accordingly. You could also take a look at what other bidders have been paying. Spy on your competition.
  • They have a blog which they update with news. I see the latest post on the blog states “Record a quick 20s testimonial showing what you won on Sellmoo and get 50 free bids!”
  • They have a nice help section that is easy to read and clearly laid out.
  • They only allow 4 wins in 7 days which is great. This keeps people from winning all the auctions and giving the newbie a chance to win. This 7 days is rolling meaning its not a set 7 day schedule.
  • Bids cost .60 cents each and you purchase them in packs.

Looking at the auctions I see on the front page I see some nice stuff including a 23 inch LCD monitor, gift cards, silver bars, cameras, nintendo ds, and many many more. It’s a nice selection of items but the silver bars really stand out to me. That’s a great opportunity to win something with some real value to it.

That’s all from me just a quick look over. Report back in the comments if you have experience on this particular site.

Penny Auctions Site Reviews Update

pennIf you’ve never been to a “Penny Auction”, then you may want to research them more before joining one of the many sites that are out there. You do actually bid a penny at a time, on the screen, but in all actuality, you pay up to $1.00 per bid that you make(which you buy in packages), so your penny bid is not really a penny, but a dollar. That is how these websites make their money selling brand new products for pennies-on-the-dollar. But, if you’re very careful, you can get some very good deals this way.

Look For Honest Reviews
Before you start on one of these sites, you should always research them carefully. Search for honest reviews, not for the ones that are sponsored by the penny auction site itself. There are many websites out there that are dedicated to giving you their honest opinion of each auction site, and will warn you away from the disreputable ones. Many times these researchers actually join the penny auction sites and bid on items. When they win and eventually receive their products, they then write a full review on the complete process, from beginning to end.

Reviewers Will Warn About Bad Sites
Reviewers will let you know which sites have the most bidding competition, so you know where you have the least chance at actually winning what you bid on. That way you don’t waste your money buying bid packages, only to never really have a shot at winning, because there are so many others bidding, too. Reviewers also rate their customer service department, which can be useful if you have a problem. If the service is bad, these reviewers will tell you upfront. And if the shipping is very slow, they will caution you not to bid on that site if you are in a hurry to receive your item.

They Also Recommend Good Sites
On the other hand, these reviewers are also quick to state which penny auction sites give you the most bang for your buck. They tend to get very verbose about their favorite places, giving you all of the positives about the place, so that you are completely knowledgeable about it before you even sign up to bid.

Check discussion boards, also–another good way to read positive or negative comments on penny auction business practices.

DealFun Penny Auctions Review

dealfun penny auctionsDealFun is a newer penny auction site that appears to offer a lot of really high quality items for auction. I see the front page full of electronics products. It looks to be a great site to try and win some high priced merchandise but lets take a loot at the inner workings before we decide to sign up.

One of the first things I like to take a look at is the layout, and this site has a nice layout. Everything is easy to find with all of the auctions clearly marking all of the relevant information you would want to monitor. The navigation is clearly marked and you should not have a hard time getting where you want to go in as short a time possible.

All bids cost $0.60 cents and bid packs are available in 45, 100, 165, and 250.

Now we get to the really great features that DealFun has to offer and they have the best features we have seen yet on any penny auction site.

  • 100% FREE SHIPPING every day. I have personally not seen this offered anywhere else and is sure to save you even more money.
  • A Special Offer is offered every day and these are not cheap offers, they tend to be really nice. As an example the epcial offer today is matching bids. If you purchase a bid pack today, any bids you spend ALL DAY  would be matched at the end of the day. If you spent 100 bids you would be given 100 free bids. That’s just the example today when this update was written.
  • Inspected and monitored by buysafe.com. Your purchases are insured up to $500.
  • They offer the buy it now feature. Never lose money unless you want to.

Take a look at this video to check out dealfun.

Happy Bid Day Penny Auctions Review

happy bid day penny auctionsOur latest review is about Happy Bid Day Penny Auctions and this is one of the best penny auction sites we have seen to date. This site is legit with a wide variety of items, coupons, rewards, and great customer service. Let’s take a closer look.

Taking a look at the auctions they offer a wide variety. This is one of the only auction sites that I have seen to offer GOLD and SILVER precious metals. This is not jewelry, the silver is in coins and the gold in bars. With the price of gold as high as it is these days this is a phenomenal opportunity to get yourself some gold bars at a discount. You will also fine some actual jewelry for sale such as diamond earrings.

They have plenty of gift cards for the big retailers, bid packs, and the usual big ticket items. These include iPad’s, android tablets, mp3 players, tv’s, laptops, etc. I saw some housewares up for auction too, a new set of pans looks tempting.

happy bid day penny auctions
When you register you get 50 free bids but you’ll need to purchase a bid pack before you get them. The great thing is you get 20% off your first bid pack purchase and you get the 50 free bids. How can you think that’s not a great deal? I have not seen a better deal anywhere and I have looked at a lot of penny auction sites. This is hands down the best deal you are going to find anywhere. Just remember to use the special code HAPPY, they remind you on the page too.

There are two types of auctions, one cent auctions, and happy auctions. One cent auctions are your standard penny auction. Happy auctions are where you spend your rewards program bids and these type of auctions include bid packs, gift cards, and small appliances. The rewards program is really great, you are rewarded with free bids when you buy bid packs, refer friends, on your birthday, and just for simply logging into the site. How can you beat that? Free bids just for logging in? I’m sold.

Alright that is all now I’m gonna go try to win me some of those nice NFL jerseys.
