ZBiddy Penny Auctions Review

zbiddy penny auctions logoLets take a look at ZBiddy penny auctions and see what they have to offer. First, I like the layout, it’s simple and streamlined. I don’t have a lot of graphics popping out at me and the auctions are easy to see.

Registration is free like most penny auction sites but of course you will need to purchase bids in order to participate on the auctions. The bids cost .60 cents each and is middle of the road compared to the price for bids on other sites. They allow you to purchase these bids in packs of 45, 75, 300, 600, 800 bids. IF you are just starting out you would want to purchase the 45 pack and take the site for a spin. If you like it then consider purchasing more bids.

All items on ZBiddy are brand new and most include the manufacturers warranty. ZBiddy states that they may on occasion auction off collectors items or antiques. Those items will not include a warranty and may not be brand new as should be expected. If you are bidding on such an item it will be clearly stated on the items description which is viewable on the auctions details page.

They provide a tool called the EZ-Buddy which allows you to place bids when you are away from the computer. You can also use this tool to monitor other auctions while you are paying your attention towards specific auctions you deem more valuable. The way it works is; you provide EZ-Buddy a set number of bids which must be more than 2 but less than 25. You set the price for when the system should begin bidding, then you can either set it to randomly bid or only bid when there are less than 10 seconds left on the auction. It will either win the auction for you or run out of bids. You can find further explanation in the help section of their site

They offer a few different types of auctions in addition to the standard penny auction:

  • Beginners Auctions which allow new penny auction users the chance to familiarize themselves with the process.
  • Nail Biter Auctions: You are not allowed to use the EZ-Buddy bidding system. All bids are MANUALLY placed by actual humans.
  • Free To Bid Auctions: Work exactly the same but no bids are charged to your account.

It looks nice to us with some great features. I love the different types of auctions personally. Go check them out.
